The History of Dr. Tirant's Treatment Protocols

For many years Dr Tirant has studied and researched skin conditions and has combined his scientific, medical and natural medical knowledge to devise effective alternative treatments to the current known traditional methods.

In the early 80s, Dr Tirant formulated many alternative skincare products including acne creams, moisturizers, dermatitis formulations, fungal and wart preparations, skin lightening agents to use in his clinic. Some of these topicals were so successful that other distributors approached Dr Tirant to enter into contracts to market these products under their own labels.

In 1982 a dermatitis topical treatment, which Dr Tirant had made specifically for a patient, was used by the patient's father to ease his psoriasis. This accidental use and subsequent remarkable result caused Dr Tirant to focus his interest into the treatment of psoriasis as well as in other skin conditions, as a life long challenge.

From small beginnings, using advertisements in local newspapers and referrals from other practitioners to obtain patients, Dr Tirant firmly established his Psoriasis & Skin Clinic to successfully operate two clinics in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr Tirant's initial Psoriasis research revealed two types of provoking factors or triggers. Primary triggers, which activate the condition in the first place and Secondary triggers, which continue to exacerbate the condition for a lifetime if left undiagnosed and untreated.

In trying to find out how and why these factors came up so regularly Dr. Tirant undertook a trial of existing patients, whose psoriasis had been successfully treated but had had "flare ups" once treatment had stopped and new patients to test certain factors.

The results were so remarkable that Dr. Tirant was encouraged to approach the Psoriasis Association of Victoria (Australia) and they were so impressed by the clinical evidence that Dr. Tirant had collected through his trials, that they agreed to participate in a joint clinical trial with Association members as trial patients. Even though the case study involved only a small number of Association members, such was the dramatic result that the Association devoted an entire Newsletter to the personal responses of the case study members. Dr Tirant has not only continued to strive to improve the topical treatments (to treat the symptoms) but has also developed a new approach for the patient, which involved combating the exacerbating triggers with his new oral medications.

After many years of research Dr Tirant also noted a remarkable and interesting factor: that the primary triggers and some of the secondary triggers were blood group related. Although no one knows for sure what causes Psoriasis, Dr. Tirant is one of the few people in the world who has had continual and proven success in assisting patients with this debilitating and often demoralizing condition.

Dr Tirant has also found that many of the findings of his psoriasis research was also relevant to other skin conditions and that many of the triggers are shared. His Treatment Protocols have been refined for the treatment of several skin conditions.

Within Australia, Dr. Tirant now has several licensed clinics established. Prior to this, psoriasis sufferers travelled from all over Australia to be treated by Dr. Tirant. Europe is now being offered access to Dr. Tirant's treatment through distributors in Hungary, Austria, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Russia.

Dr Tirant has over several years, appeared on Australian Television News, Good Medicine, Good Morning Australia and many other programs as well as radio interviews. And has regularly appeared on Television programs in Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic.
